Pepsi Cup QR Codes

I'm not a fan of QR codes that lead directly to video, so this is disappointing. However, the scan numbers for the cup are encouraging. QR codes on beverage packaging can prompt large amounts of interaction. Check out the analytics here



  1. Total fail. The QR resolves directly to a 30 second commercial. Warn me before you eat half my download quota!! Plus, it's using for the redirect and you can see their hit stats here. About 2K hits per day. 300K since the start.

  2. I agree with you about the content! A mobile landing page featuring additional content beyond the video would have been ideal. The scan numbers are big though. Shows that QR codes on beverage packaging can get nice engagement!
